Notes
1 The Extended Natural Weave from PP, (SQQQQQQQQ) is
not in the ISTD syllabus. The regular Natural Weave from PP,
counted (SQQQQQQ), which has 6 quicks as opposed to 8.
2 The Extended Reverse Wave is only in the IDTA syllabus.
3 The Change of Direction is written as (SSS), whereby the
last (S) is used as a preparatory step from the ensuing figure.
Despite being technically illegal, it is not uncommon to see
it held (SSSS) and followed by a Three Step (SQQ).
4 In syllabus, the Open Telemark and Natural Turn are only
permissible with an Outside Swivel. For a full analysis of the
sequence, see the commentary opposite.
5 The Oversway is taken from the Tango syllabus (which
includes two reverse pivots) and has been extended with
the Throwaway line. This figure is not part of syllabus Foxtrot.

*Commentary*
At 0:55 the following amalgamation occurs:
-Open Telemark (SQQ)
-Natural Turn (from PP) (QQQ)
-Quick Outside Spin (QQQ)
-(Natural) Spin (Q)
-(Natural) Pivot (Q)

This combination is based on steps 1-10 of Foxtrot Variation #32 in Alex Moore's Popular Variations.
The original sequence reads: Open Telemark, Natural Turn to Quick Outside Spin, Spin to "Chair."
In this version, the Spin to "Chair" has been replaced by an overturned Spin to Natural Pivot.

The timing written by Alex Moore and narrated by Marcus Hilton in the video is the following:
SQQ SQQ &QQ QQ
However, the timing used in the performance is:
SQQ QQQ QQQ QQ

We do not wish to label the video as disingenuous, however, we believe it is worth pointing out the difference
between how a dynamic piece of open-level choreography is counted, and how it is actually danced.
