What is this?
Title: Three Step
Level: Pre-Bronze (ISTD), (IDTA)
Timing: (SQQ)
Rotation: None.
Notes
In all editions of the Ballroom Technique, the Three Step is written as beginning
with the Man's Right foot forward (Lady's Left foot backwards). We believe this
is due to how Alex Moore has charted the Feather Step family: all of the figures
include the subsequent step with the Man's Left foot forwards (Lady's Right
foot backwards).

In terms of choreography, the Three Step doesn't behave like a figure that
begins with the Man's Right foot forward (Lady's Left foot backwards). In
general, it is taught as written in the Foxtrot and Basic Principles: beginning
with the Man's Left foot forwards (Lady's Right foot backwards). Our
choreographic representation of the Three Step reflects how it has been
charted by the IDTA.

The Curved Three Step
The IDTA syllabus includes the Curved Three Step which turns up to 3/4 to Left.

Video Example 1
Notes
