Notes
IDTA Level In the current ISTD syllabus, the Weave from PP is listed as Silver. In the IDTA step list, the Weave from PP is Silver or Gold depending on which figure precedes it. Silver: Open Impetus followed by Weave from PP. Gold: Open Telemark followed by Weave from PP. According to The Foxtrot and Basic Principles, the remaining figures that achieve Promenade Position in Foxtrot – Hover Telemark to PP and Outside Swivel – are not permissible entries for the Weave from PP. By contrast, Ballroom Technique permits all Promenade Entries for the Weave from PP. The Checked Weave As with the Basic Weave, the Quick Natural Weave from PP, the Natural Weave, and the Bounce Fallaway with Weave Ending, the Weave from PP includes a Feather Finish. This Feather Finish may be checked to follow with Top Spin or Outside Swivel. |
