The Quick Natural Weave from PP exists only in the IDTA syllabus, where it is listed as a separate figure from the regular Natural Weave. The Quick Natural Weave is not mentioned in any old or current editions of Alex Moore's Ballroom Technique or Popular Variations. It is listed as the Running Weave (albeit with a different timing) in Geoffrey Hearn's A Technique of Advanced Standard Ballroom Figures. Although the Quick Natural Weave may begin in Closed Position as well as Promenade Position, only the Quick Natural Weave from PP is listed in the IDTA syllabus. The Quick Natural Weave from PP The Quick Natural Weave from PP may be begun facing Line of Dance or Diagonal Wall after an Open Telemark; it may also start facing Diagonal Center after an Open Impetus, Hover Telemark to PP, or Outside Swivel. The Checked Quick Natural Weave As with the Weave Figures, the Quick Natural Weave includes a Feather Finish. This Feather Finish may be checked to follow with Top Spin or Outside Swivel. |
