Notes
The Natural Zig-Zag is not part of the current ISTD or IDTA syllabi, although its
cousin – the Natural Zig-Zag from PP – is still featured in both. It is listed in the 
Named Variations (Gold) of our 1955 and 1966 editions of The Revised Technique 
by Alex Moore, and was removed at some point before the 8th Edition of 1976. 
The Box and the Natural Zig-Zag remain the only Foxtrot figures to have been 
excised from the ISTD syllabus. 

The Natural Zig-Zag is nearly identical to the Natural Zig-Zag from PP, except that 
the first step is taken in line with Lady rather than in Promenade Position.
