Title: Basic Weave
Level: Bronze (ISTD), (IDTA) Timing: (123456) Rotation: ½ to ⅝ to Left Title: Basic Weave to PP Level: Bronze (ISTD), (IDTA) Timing: (123456) Rotation: ½ to ⅝ to Left |
Notes
In our 1966 edition of The Revised Technique by Alex Moore, the Basic Weave is only listed under Foxtrot (as The Weave). Its inclusion in the current Waltz syllabi suggests it was one of several figures found to be suitable in more than one dance. IDTA Syllabus: The IDTA syllabus refers to the Basic Weave as the Weave in Waltz Time, otherwise it is the same figure. |
