Title: Open Natural Turn from PP
Level: (-) (ISTD), (IDTA) Timing: (123) Rotation: Up to ½ to Right |
Notes
The Open Natural Turn from PP or Passing Natural Turn from PP is not part of the ISTD or IDTA syllabi. In our 1966 edition of The Revised Technique by Alex Moore, it is only mentioned in passing as an exit figure for an Open Impetus at a corner. This suggests to us that the Open Natural Turn from PP was a common figure familiar to most dancers - but not important enough to be individually listed. Additional Figure: The Open Natural Turn from PP is included as an additional figure in the Waltz for German D-Class/C-Class dancers competing under DTV rules. |
