Turning Lock into Left Whisk on (1)
Both ISTD and IDTA permit a Turning Lock (closed finish) to end with a Left Whisk taken on the first beat. The ISTD specifically outlines the following amalgamation:

Dance Natural Spin Turn and 1-4 Turning Lock,
1. Cross RF behind LF for Left Whisk, 
2. Replace weight on LF, 
3. Step RF side, follow with Contra Check. 

IDTA Syllabus: To avoid confusion with the Turning Lock to Right, the IDTA refers to this figure as Turning Lock to Left.
