To our knowledge, the 1976 edition of The Revised Technique by Alex Moore is the first syllabus which features the Reverse Pivot as an independent figure. Prior to this, it was listed only as a Quickstep figure and in the Waltz Amalgamations. The Checked Spin Turn For those searching the syllabus for a Checked Spin Turn, the full name of the amalgamation is Natural Spin Turn and Reverse Pivot. |
