Notes
The Running Cross Chassé is the accelerated brother of the regular Cross Chassé – so much so that it no longer features a Chassé action. Unlike the Cross Chassé, which has been a staple of the ISTD syllabus since its earliest incarnations, the Running Cross Chassé has only been catalogued in Guy Howard's The Quickstep and Basic Principles. The Running Cross Chassé to PP The Quickstep and Basic Principles states that Step 4 may be taken to the side in Promenade Position. Possible exit figures are: Passing Natural Turn, Tipple Chassé to Left, or Tipsy to Left. There are no Promenade figures in ISTD Quickstep. |
